After deciding our daughter was going to have a jungle theme party for her 6th birthday, we now had to decide whether we should have it at home or at another venue like play 2 day. We had to weigh up our options and see whether it would be worth our while to have it somewhere else. Although it would work out cheaper in the short term to have it at home, we were worried that it would, in fact, cost more in the end because of all the cleaning we had to do afterwards. I mean, imagine the stains in the carpet after 20 6 years old and trodden in jelly! I wasn’t sure I would have the will power to clean it up after everyone had left, so we opted to have it at play 2 day instead. At least they could deal with the messy side of things and we were just able to relax.

Mother’s Day is just around the corner so I am preparing already for the best Mother’s Day gift. However, I am having a tough time deciding what gift to give to my mom. She just bought new pair of shoes and bag so I thought it would not be a good idea to buy the same things for her. My sister who is in Paris sent her a package of cosmetic products so another crossed items in the list. I was actually feeling hopeless already but when my niece came home and asked me to help her make a collage, I instantly got an idea. Yes, a collage of pictures would be a great Mothers Day gift and I am sure that mom will love it. She loves taking family pictures so the collage that I will be making would be a nice addition to her collection. Now, what I shall do is, find the best and memorable pictures from family gatherings and outings. I am not really creative or artistic but I will do my best to make a good collage for my mommy dearest.

I love looking back at m childhood. I have such fond memories even during Christmas. For many years I was the only child so my parents always wanted me to have fun. On Christmas day, they used to hand me letters from Santa. They would say that Santa gave it to me while I was asleep on Christmas eve. That he wanted to talk to me in person however I had already fallen asleep by the time he had landed on our roof. Boy, my parents were real creative people. Going back to the letters from Santa, I remember the joy I would feel while opening them. And I even imagined him sitting behind an old dark wood desk with a big old fashioned feathery pen writing the letters to me. The excitement I felt was amazing, and this is what I also want my future children to experience. So yes, I am definitely giving them letters from santa.

After visiting the Alps last year on a walking holiday my family and I decided to visit Scotland for a walking holiday. I always see so much coverage of the beautiful highlands and thought it was time to pay them a visit. I searched forglasgow hotelsonline and found a perfect hotel right next to the hiking trail that leads in to the highlands. We travelled up on the train from London and the next morning we set off up the mountain trails that run all the way across the highlands. It was stunning. The clouds started to part when we were halfway to the summit of the first climb and the views were incredible. We could see right over to the east coast and could even see the high mountains in the distance. There were fields absolutely filled with wild flowers shining yellow and deep browns in the morning sunshine.

Indeed, metal Christmas songs are a new approach when it comes to traditional Christmas carols and hymns. These types of Christmas songs are preferred by teenagers as it is suited to their unique taste and preference in music. Nonetheless, the number one concern of people with metal Christmas songs is it can turn into disturbing noise. This situation usually happen if this type of Christmas songs is played on a very loud volume. At the same time, it can be quite disturbing if it is played at wee hours of the night.
With this, people who are fond of metal Christmas songs must be conscious of the people around them. Through this way, they will not be able to cause disturbance as well as problem to others. When one would want to listen to metal Christmas songs, one could play it within audible volume. On the other hand, they could just use any head set or earphone. Through this way, they can turn up the volume without having to worry of other people.

How can a scary costume be complete without Halloween contact lenses? Dressing up as the undead, a gothic creature or some hideous monster may be considered cute. Combine such costumes with the right eye wear and you become entirely frightening.
Enigmatic vampire contact lenses, featuring gold preternatural tones, make party guests wonder if you want a drink or a drop of their blood. With zombie contact lenses you are sure to look less than alive and might have friends checking for your pulse. Another choice is cat eye contact lenses. These striking, hard to ignore lenses can dramatically alter any costume regardless of the theme.
Although anyone can wear these special contact lenses without a prescription, remember that eye wear should always be properly handled to avoid injury. Some users also choose to wear Halloween contact lenses any day of the year, but be warned. The pedestrians who pass you on the street might just flee.

There’s nothing better than a pirate theme party no matter what your age or whatever the occcasion. If you’re throwing your own pirate party then hopefully the following pirate party ideas will give you some great inspiration to make it a pleasurable occasion for everybody.
1. Your invitations are essential, you should spend some time on getting some good ones. Look online for some cool pirate pictures, print them off and send your invites out on them! How about a picture of Captain Jack Sparrow or Captain Hook?
2. It’s very important that you create a Facebook group for your pirate party. This will get your guests in the mood from an early stage. You will also be able to hype up your party and get all your friends really excited as it approaches. You will also be able to keep everyone updated about any changes.
3. For pirate party costumes get some jeans and slash off the bottom making certain to jag up the edges with some shears. This will create some great pirate trousers. Find an old and faded stripy t-shirt and likewise jag up the edges by cutting into the sleeves. Eye patches are simple to get hold of and maybe if you have a parrot stuffed doll you could fasten it to your shoulder. Last but not least, all pirates bear bandannas.
4. Have a look in your local costume store if you don’t fancy making your own costume. They are sure to have all the favorites including Jack Sparrow and Captain Hook.
5. Look online for some pirate party tunes. As always, Amazon is a great place to start! I also suggest you have a group sing a long to classics such as What Shall we do with a Druken Sailor and In The Navy!

During Christmas season, secret Santa surprise has become a habit and tradition for many people all around the world. If you are going to buy secret santa gifts, there is no room for being picky since it is supposed to be ‘random.’ The process involves gathering people and one by one they will open chits contained in the bag or hat. The chits contain the names of the people who are attending and you will also draw one chit that contains the name of the person you are going to give gift to without revealing to other people who your secret recipient is. The only thing that you have to bear in mind, when you are buying for your gift, is to think of the personality of the person and his or her wishes this Christmas. Of course, you cannot give the person what he or she wants if he or she wants something impossible to attain. But, if you base your gift into his or her personality, you could never go wrong. In fact, you don’t need to get picky with the kind of gift you give the person.
